2026 System Wide Chlorine Conversion

July 28, 2026

Starting July 31st, Nueces County Water Control & Improvement District #3 will be undergoing a system wide, TCEQ approved "Chlorine Burn" or "Chlorine Conversion". This is standard and similar to all of the burns or conversions completed in the years past. This will last through August 27th. During this period, you may exerience taste and odor changes associated with this type of temporary disinfectant conversion. This is completely normal and safe for regular consumption. Should have have any questions or concerns, please call our office.
